E.g. allergies, wheelchair accessible, portable chair for when we are still for longer than a few minutes, etc.
Thank you! I’ll be in touch with more details about where to put, but in the meantime, here are a few notes to help you prepare…
WHAT TO BRING/WEAR:
We will be sitting on the ground for a good part of the time, so I invite you to bring a blanket/towel or camp chair or something to sit on if you don't want to sit on the ground. I usually have some extras, so no worries if you forget.
Dress in layers you will be comfortable in sitting on the ground and in variable weather. I recommend pants to protect you from scrapes and bugs, as well as lots of warm layers in colder weather, since we don’t stay as warm as we do on a typical walk.
Consider leaving valuables behind in a secure location, or keep them on your body. It will be easier to relax into the experience if you don't have to keep track of valuables like a big purse or phone we wander from our sit spot.
Bring a water bottle and anything else you might need to be comfortable outside, such as sunscreen, bug spray, sun hat, etc.
COVID Precautions:
I am fully vaccinated against COVID-19, and given the fact that we are outside and can keep distance during our time together, I do not plan to wear a mask. You are welcome to wear a mask or not -- whatever makes you most comfortable.
Extreme Weather:
A chance of light rain in the forecast won't stop us, but if the weather looks miserable or unsafe, I will cancel via text or email with as much advance notice as possible.
Feel free to contact me with any questions or comments…
I'm looking forward to it!
Warmly,
Sarah
